1. Samsung introduces new Endurance microSD cards
Samsung released its new series of microSD cards called Pro Endurance, optimized for video recording in Full HD and 4K. These microSD cards are designed for surveillance cameras, dashboard cameras, doorbell cameras, body cameras, and more. The card can record non-stop for 16 years, provided the host device manages to offload the content quick enough and the Prices start from $10.99 for the 32GB version and go up to $54.99 for the 256GB variant.
2. Moto Edge 30 launched in India
Motorola launched its new upper mid-range smartphone Moto Edge 30 in India. The Moto Edge 30 has been launched in select global markets as the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone. The phone is only 6.79mm thick. It comes with a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes with a 6.5-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The 10-bit color display has a 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It also features a triple-camera with a 50MP main camera sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Edge 30 packs a small 4020 mAh battery. The expected price of this smartphone in India is between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000.
3. Facebook to Disable "Nearby Friends" and some other features
Facebook to disable many location-based features, including the ‘Nearby Friends’ feature, and other location-based features, including the Weather alert from 1 June 2022. The phone notification also points out that Time Alerts, Location History, and Background History will also be unavailable in the coming weeks. Facebook didn’t provide a clear statement about removing many location-based features from the platform.
